Welcome to A Few More Mini Farm
Welcome to A Few More Mini Farm. We’re glad you’re here. What began as a small love for gardens, goats, and homemade goodness turned into a shop of handcrafted, cruelty-free bath products made right here in Mooresville, Indiana. This blog is where we’ll share why we make what we make, how we make it, and the little farm moments that inspire every bar of soap and bottle of lotion.
Who we are A Few More Mini Farm is a small, family-run business. Our goal is simple: create clean, effective bath products that feel good to use and come from ingredients we trust. We handcraft each batch in small quantities so we can control quality and keep things honest and simple. Sustainability, animal-friendly practices, and fresh, natural scents guide our choices.
Why handcrafted soap? Handcrafted soap isn’t just a trend-it's a different process. We use methods that preserve natural glycerin, choose oils and butters for skin benefits, and avoid harsh detergents and unnecessary additives. Our soaps are formulated to clean gently while moisturizing, so you don’t end up stripping your skin.
What you can expect from our products
Clean ingredients: We choose plant-based oils, butters, and responsibly sourced additive-free components whenever possible.
Cruelty-free: No animal testing, ever. We’re proud supporters of kind practices.
Small batches: Making soap in small batches lets us keep quality high and recipes consistent.
Seasonal and farm-inspired scents: Expect fragrance blends inspired by the garden, the orchard, and the quiet smells of a mini farm—think lavender, citrus, rosemary, and warm spice blends.
A peek behind the scenes
We start each product with intentional sourcing. Oils and butters are selected for how they feel on skin and their stability in a bar or balm. When we add botanicals-dried lavender, calendula, or chamomile-we choose varieties that complement the soap both visually and therapeutically. Each batch is cured, labeled, and inspected before it ever reaches your hands.
Why local matters Being based in Mooresville means we’re part of a community. Local businesses support one another, and we try to do the same-sourcing whenever possible in Indiana, participating in community markets, and keeping our packaging simple and recyclable. Buying small and local helps reduce environmental impact and keeps craftsmanship alive.
How to use and care for handcrafted soap
Keep bars dry between uses. A well-draining soap dish extends life.
Cut large bars into smaller pieces to rotate usage and make them last.
Store extras in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight during warm months.
Try different bars for different needs: a gentle, moisturizing bar for daily use and a more exfoliating or deeply scented bar for a treat.
